Fire does damage, but water does the most damage to this commercial property

An electrical fire in the attic of this commercial building wasn't large and thankfully no one got hurt. However, the smoke and soot traveled extensively through the ventilation system to the entire building and effected 2 whole floors. Then the water came from the extinguishing of the fire: every room, every ceiling, floor, wall and every bit of it's contents had water damage on top of the fire, smoke and soot effected areas. 

SERVPRO of Kingston/New Paltz was on the scene within 15 minutes to board up the property for security and then started the full remediation process once approved by the fire department and the owner of the building.

All contents were moved from this facility to ours to begin the restoration of smoke and water from the contents that were salvageable. Our remediation crews are continuing to work on this loss and, in short time, this building will be fresh and new and 'Like it never even happened.'
